Cairo, April 10, 2025 – Celitron Medical Technologies Ltd. successfully participated in the 2025 Hungarian–Egyptian Business Forum, held at the headquarters of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) in Cairo.
The event aimed to strengthen economic, trade, and investment cooperation between the two countries, with a special focus on industrial and technological innovation.

Celitron in Focus: Eco-Friendly Hospital Waste Management
Celitron was represented at the event by its Business Development Director, who introduced the company’s Integrated Sterilizer and Shredder (ISS) system.
This environmentally friendly, on-site solution enables the safe treatment of infectious hospital waste, significantly reducing infection risks and waste volume in medical facilities.

Throughout discussions with Egyptian partners, several promising business opportunities emerged, pointing toward long-term, mutually beneficial collaborations in the healthcare sector between Egypt and Hungary.
The forum was elevated by the participation of high-level officials including HE Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat, Egypt’s Minister of Planning, Economic Development and International Cooperation,
Hassan Al-Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, and Péter Szijjártó, Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The event also coincided with the upcoming 5th session of the Egyptian–Hungarian Joint Committee for Economic, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation, further reinforcing the strategic partnership between the two nations.

During the forum, several key Hungarian–Egyptian projects were announced:
Hungarian tech company 4iG will construct a 2,800 km long undersea fiber-optic cable, connecting Europe and Egypt with high-speed internet infrastructure.
A Hungarian–Egyptian consortium will build a new gas-fired unit at the Mátra Power Plant, involving an investment of €700 million.
Egypt is open to Hungarian technological partnerships in sectors such as green hydrogen, smart manufacturing, and the circular industrial economy.
